Bookshop.org is an online bookstore with a cool premise. Independent bookstores can apply to be part of Bookshop.org. Readers pick their local bookstore that they want the majority of their purchase to go to. Additionally, every bookstore on the platform gets a portion of the proceeds.
There are readers who are anti-Amazon, and Bookshop.org is a great alternative place to sell to them. The books are more expensive than on Amazon, and you have to pay for shipping. But a certain kind of customer doesn't mind paying extra to support independent bookstores in their neighborhood.
Recently, Bookshop.org started selling e-books and audiobooks.
